I love libraries. One of the greatest public services, period. Any book, all you have to do is ask and they let you borrow it. “Here, we trust you, just bring it back when your done.” Fuck the free market this is the honor system. Suzzallo is an intoxicating place. A place that makes you temper your breath and tread lightly, just by the sheer presence of it. It’s intimidating to be dwarfed by knowledge, to know that you are surrounded by more than you can imagine, by books that know you better than you know yourself. And it’s all free, and you could grow old and die before you would ever comprehend it all.   I get high on books.
